[Medical News / Daily Bosa = Reporter Inkyu Oh] Dyne Medical Group announced on the 30th that it recently hosted its academic program, the “Dyne UZB RIRS Workshop,” in Uzbekistan.
The workshop was conducted by inviting Korean medical experts as faculty, featuring lectures alongside live surgeries performed in actual hospital operating rooms using URUS, a ureteroscope equipped with a 6 o’clock working channel.

Going beyond a simple product introduction, the workshop focused on demonstrating real-world clinical applications of RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery) using URUS. The program aimed to highlight both the clinical effectiveness and practical usability of the 6 o’clock working channel in real surgical environments. The event was held across two hospitals in Tashkent and Gulistan (Syrdarya).
At M Clinic in Tashkent, Prof. Gyeongtae Ko from Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital delivered a lecture on RIRS techniques. In addition, Dr. Murad of M Clinic presented approximately 80 clinical cases using URUS, sharing real-world applications and clinical outcomes.
Subsequently, at RDM Clinic in Gulistan, Prof. Jeonghun Lee from Asan Medical Center and Prof. Sangheon Song from Seoul National University Bundang Hospital conducted lectures and live surgeries. The session, performed in collaboration with Dr. Vosit of RDM Clinic, demonstrated live surgical procedures utilizing URUS, ClearPetra, and Port-C.
The lectures and live surgeries centered on RIRS techniques based on the 6 o’clock working channel, emphasizing its advantages in improving access to lower pole stones and enhancing intuitive instrument handling during procedures.
Local medical professionals responded positively, stating,
“URUS improves stone accessibility through its 6 o’clock working channel and provides a stable surgical environment with a balanced view. It also offers intuitive handling and excellent durability.”
Amid these favorable evaluations, the workshop led to actual purchase agreements on-site following the live surgeries, demonstrating the product’s clinical competitiveness.

In particular, while the product had already been introduced in the Uzbekistan market, the workshop served as a meaningful opportunity to expand interest among new medical professionals and institutions, leading to further customer acquisition.
Meanwhile, Dyne Medical Group also showcased URUS and Port-C at the CAEC26 conference held from April 24 through its local distributor, DCT International. Medical professionals from key Central Asian countries showed strong interest in the 6 o’clock working channel structure of URUS, with continued on-site demo requests.
A company representative stated,
“This workshop was a meaningful opportunity to directly demonstrate the clinical strengths of our products in real surgical settings, leading to actual purchase decisions. Building on our presence in the Uzbekistan market, we plan to further expand our global footprint by strengthening academic programs and clinical collaborations with more medical professionals and institutions.”
