At the signing ceremony, key members of the KSER, including Professor Seonghyeon Baek of Konkuk University Hospital, Professor Deokhyun Han of Samsung Medical Center, Professor Taehyo Kim of Dong-A University Hospital, and Professor Kyungjin Oh of Chonnam National University Hospital, were present along with Dyne Medical Group's CEO Seonghoon Lee, reaffirming their commitment to mutual cooperation.
The MOU covers areas such as the development of educational programs, provision of educational materials, program operation, and information exchange. Both parties aim to improve the professionalism of medical staff and provide educational opportunities regarding the latest technologies and treatment methods. Dyne Medical Group expects that this MOU will serve as an important milestone in the development of kidney stone removal surgery (RIRS) using the single-use flexible ureteroscope "URUS." The company plans to engage in various educational programs and collaborative projects in the future.
President Seonghyeon Baek expressed his expectations, saying, "Through this agreement, we will be able to provide high-quality educational opportunities to urology professionals and contribute to academic achievements." CEO Seonghoon Lee added, "With Dyne Medical Group’s technical support, we can further enhance the professionalism of medical staff."
Meanwhile, Dyne Medical Group is strengthening its competitiveness in the urology treatment sector, including its recent FDA clearance for the single-use flexible ureteroscope "URUS" and entry into the U.S. market. The company also plans to import and exclusively distribute the Clearpetra (ureteral access sheath) manufactured by Well Lead in Korea to provide a total solution for stone removal.
Furthermore, from the second half of next year, Dyne Medical Group will begin selling EMS's Trilogy and TFL laser products in Korea, aiming to offer medical professionals a variety of necessary products for stone removal, providing greater convenience.
A company spokesperson emphasized, "With these plans and the signing of the MOU with KSER, Dyne Medical Group will position itself as a key contributor to urology education and treatment, both domestically and internationally."
